HondaCare for New Honda Vehicles

If you're considering a new Honda for sale or if you've recently purchased one at our Honda dealership, HondaCare is a smart option. While your new vehicle's limited warranty and HondaLink can keep you covered, Houston area shoppers looking for long-term coverage have options. HondaCare is available for new Honda vehicles and will extend the Honda warranty coverage, up to eight years or 120,000 miles.

Plans and Eligibility

HondaCare plans are available with terms ranging from 5 years/60,000 miles up to 8 years/120,000 miles. All Honda vehicles within the original factory warranty period are eligible. Ask your Honda dealership for details when you schedule your next service appointment.

Roadside Assistance

HondaCare also offers comprehensive roadside assistance services. Emergency services like towing, lockout assistance, jump-starts, and even fuel deliveries are all included.

Concierge Emergency Service*

The HondaCare concierge service is available around the clock. This service can provide several useful functions when your Honda vehicle requires service, including auto glass replacement referrals, insurance claim assistance, and emergency cash advances.

Rental Car Reimbursement*

In the event your Honda requires any covered repair, HondaCare helps get you back on the road with rental-car reimbursement of up to $35 a day for up to six days, dependent on repair time.

*Oil changes are not eligible for rental-car reimbursement.

Trip Interruption Benefits

If your vehicle needs repair and you are more than 100 miles from home, HondaCare can provide up to $100 per day for meals and lodging for up to a 3-day/$300 maximum.

  • Drivetrain: Engine, Transmission, Fuel-Injection System and Axles
  • Computers/Electronics: Computers, Switches, Sensors and SRS Control Unit
  • Chassis: Suspension, Steering and Brake System
  • Heating/Cooling: Air Conditioning, Heating System and Cooling System
  • Genuine Honda or Authorized Electronic/Audio Accessories, including Factory or Dealer-installed Audio, Cellular Phone, Security and Navigational Systems

HondaCare for Non-Honda Vehicles

HondaCare vehicle-service contracts can give you peace of mind when buying a non-Honda vehicle from a Honda automobile dealer. With HondaCare, your new or used vehicle is protected in such critical areas as the engine, transmission, suspension, air conditioning/heating, and more. HondaCare is transferable and is also available with powertrain coverage.

    Oil Changes*

    Regular oil changes are an important part of maintaining your vehicle's peak performance and value. HondaCare Sentinel® covers the cost of oil changes in accordance with your Owner's Manual guidelines for normal conditions.

    * HondaCare Sentinel® is not a maintenance program. Regular oil changes are only part of the complete maintenance responsibilities outlined in your Owner's Manual.

    Does HondaCare Cover Tires? Road Hazard Tire Protection*

    HondaCare Sentinel® expands the tire manufacturer's warranty to cover damage caused by potholes, nails, glass, and more. The four original tires on your vehicle are covered for repairable leaks or punctures, up to $35 per repair. If replacement is required, this plan will cover the prorated cost up to $150.

    *Tire wear and off-road usage are not covered. Please see your Honda dealer for details.
