The Fun Family Minivan - Comparing the 2020 Honda Odyssey in Clear Lake
If you’re finding your family growing faster than your current vehicle can keep up with, you might need to consider upgrading for something bigger. That doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice all of the fun, because Honda has a slew of vehicles for any family big or small. Today, we are going to highlight the 2020 Honda Odyssey in Clear Lake and compare it to the Toyota Sienna to save you time when you’re ready to test-drive.
The Honda Odyssey is the ultimate family minivan. It makes every drive smooth, entertaining, and convenient for everyone, with seating for up to 8, configurable cargo space and high-tech features for everyone. When sitting behind the wheel, the driver will enjoy the superior ride and handling capabilities due to the fully independent front and rear suspensions. This allows the minivan to grip the pavement better without compromising comfort. The Sienna, on the other hand, only has a semi-independent rear suspension system, so riding in that Toyota won’t be as smooth. The Odyssey’s front grille uses electronically controlled shutters to close off airflow when less engine cooling is needed to reduce drag. Still, this feature isn’t offered on the Sienna either. Another system missing from the Sienna is computer-generated active noise cancellation technology to reduce noise and vibration from the passenger side of the cabin. So when you’re traveling in the Odyssey, you’ll have a smoother and quieter ride than if you rode in the Sienna.
When highlighting convenient features within the Odyssey, you’ll find backlit switches for the power window, power lock, and cruise control to make them visible at night. And to keep personal devices charged without dealing with cables, the Odyssey Elite comes with a standard wireless phone charging system in the center console. The Sienna’s switches are unlit, making it more difficult to see them at night, and it doesn’t offer a wireless charging system. The Odyssey provides a rear entertainment system for the second and third-row passengers to keep everyone in the cabin entertained. They’ll be able to play music, stream videos, and view the How Much Farther?® app on a 10.2-inch display so you don’t have to hear “are we there yet?” or “I’m bored!” ever again. If that isn’t enough for your passengers, they can also enjoy wireless streaming on their favorite devices because the Odyssey offers a Wi-Fi hotspot* capability with a data plan from AT&T.
To wrap up, we told you how the 2020 Honda Odyssey in Clear Lake is more entertaining, smoother, and more convenient than the Toyota Sienna, but there is so much more to discover! Give us a call at Honda of Clear Lake, or visit our website for more information about this fun family minivan!
