of Honda's two-motor hybrid powertrain technology, providing class-leading
power and fuel economy.
A Wide Variety Of Trim Levels
The 2017
Accord Sedan is available in a variety of trim levels, with 4-cylinder, V6 and
hybrid powertrain options, plus 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and
continuously variable transmission choices.
Accord Sedan trim levels are LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition, EX, EX-L, EX-L V-6, and Touring. The Hybrid Sedan is available in Hybrid, EX-L, and Touring trim levels.
A Four, A V6, Or A Hybrid For Power
The Honda Accord offers three engine options. The 2.4L
four-cylinder engine has outputs of 185 or 189 horsepower, depending on model.
It comes standard on the LX, Sport, Sport SE, and EX trims of the Sedan. All
other non-hybrid Accord models have a powerful 3.5L V6 engine putting out 278
horsepower. The Accord Hybrid combines a 143-hp 2.0L four-cylinder engine with
an AC Synchronous Electric Motor and a Lithium-Ion battery for a total system
horsepower of 212.
